Error while inserting event log into database

Hi guys....

I’ve finally gotton into the area of writting modules and recently completed two simple modules to list out orders and email subscribers for a modx site I built.

The module have been working fine however just recently the users are reporting and error when they click on both of the two modules I wrote. They get a white screen with: "Error while inserting event log into database."

This has been working fine, and no changes where made to the site since it launched. I tried to clear the event log thinking it was an issue with that, but the problem remains, and my module is useless!

Any ideas?

This is a common problem if you hijack the mysql database connection (i.e. change the mysql connection MODx depends on to "use" another database)...

It is possible im querying the DB in another way, IE not using the MODx DBAPI to do so, I will investigate this.
Still would not explain whey it just stopped working now?
