Answered Help needed: Moved to server: images no longer showing, problem with Phpthumb (?)

    I've moved a site from my development environment to my clients server. Now, all of a sudden, images that were added through the manager are no longer showing. I've been searching high and low, but I really can't find a solution. It seems to be a problem with phpthumb since no images are shown anywhere, not on the site itself and not in the manager.

    If you look at this:

    And:

    You can see the image is present, but just not showing through Phpthumb.

    Also, Modx log is showing this (but I'm not sure if it's related):

    (ERROR @ /connectors/system/phpthumb.php) [migxResourceMediaPath]: docid could not be determined.


    Really hope someone can point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance!

      Are you using a media source other than the default filesystem to serve your images?

      It seems you are using MIGX. Can you post a call showing how you're displaying those images in the front end?

        A media source was set up named ResourceMediaPath, combined with MIGX. I think this was done along the lines of the online manual at http://rtfm.modx.com/extras/revo/migx/migx.tutorials/migx.use-resource-specific-media-source-and-multifile-uploader

        Chunk named 'header-afbeelding': 
        [[+image:stripString=`/en/`:phpthumbsup=`w=1280&h=370&zc=1`]]


        Code to display image: 
        [[!getImageList? &tvname=`header-afbeelding` &tpl=`header-afbeelding`]]


        I created a new TV to hold an image, without MIGX (input set as 'image'), unfortunately this fails as well. No images are shown in the manager or front-end. Uploading images seems to work fine.

        PS: The system was put together by someone else, I'm still trying to figure things out. Weird thing is that it all worked fine on my dev server. And even on my clients previous website running on the same server using the exact same setup. I checked permissions etc, but that seems to be ok.

          Do your images load if you remove the phpthumbsup output modifier?
          [[+image:stripString=`/en/`]]


          Can you also confirm that ImageMagick 6.x or GD Library are installed on your client server?

            I tried taking out the stripString=`/en/` part, but no luck.

            Both GD and ImageMagick 6.5.4 are installed.

              The issue has been solved.

              After digging around in the core folders I found out that the file /core/model/phpthumb/phpthumb.functions.php was empty and 0 bytes. I replaced the file with a proper copy which solved the issue. I assume something went wrong during upload to the server.
