@BobRay If possible could you update NP to use Susan's solution so it doesn't get overwritten when updated? The default text field for 'Description' really is quite awkward when trying to write a 255 character description. I’m sure others would agree.

I've added this at line 914 of the NewsPublisher class file. No need for any CSS changes:

Remember that you can type more text than will fit in the box, but the extra text will be truncated. I don't think there's a reliable way to prevent that without JavaScript.
