    Hi all,

I have a question about how to deal with/manage images resources, the situation is:
-I have multiple articles (resources) each one contain certain number of photos.
-Some pages may have common images.
-I need each image to be multiple tagged, I know how this can be done, but I mean if I tag "img1" with "tag1", I want to be able (when I load the image again) to ADD "tag2" (without re-writing "tag1, tag2").

The problem is that I am not even sure how to do this, first, I tried to load each image as a single resource and make it's tags, but I have hundreds of images and this operation gonna take a long time, plus, I couldn't load these image resources from an article.
I wonder how to add an image as a resource which is ALREADY tagged, not a new upload from the media source that needs to be tagged again.

Even tried using gallery in this situation didn't work:
    I created an album called "album1" that contain "img1" & "img2"
    I created a second album called "album2" that contain "img2" & "img3"
Modx creates a sub-directory of these albums under assets in which "img2" is duplicated!

(Maybe somthing like creating an album from an already existing album will solve my problem but I don't know how to do it, or how to make an image belong to multiple albums WITHOUT DUPLICATION, Albums -> Subalbums -> Items.)

I hope I made myself clear, A quick response is really appreciated! [ed. note: jihed.jaouabi last edited this post 11 years, 9 months ago.]
