Newbie MODx admin here.
I followed the instructions for the Move site to new location.
I found that the core.php files had a lot of trailing space and lines after the closing php tag.
Once I removed that, I could use the manager.
But now, all of the pages except the home page return a 404 not found. Nothing in the error log in the cache directory.
The pages were working after I initially copied over the site and changed the config.inc.php file for the new paths (same server, different URL). But at that point, the manager was not.
So can someone point me in the direction of getting this working? I need a fully functional development site.

First, did you run setup after moving things? Setup will usually straighten out the paths. You should also delete all files in the core/cache directory and clear your browser cache and cookies.
If that doesn't do it, there are only four files that set the paths and URLs in Revolution:
core/config/config.inc.php
config.core.php (in the MODX root)
connectors/config.core.php
manager/config.core.php
What you're experiencing is most often (but not always) the result of a bad path or URL in config.inc.php. Keep in mind that some of the settings in config.inc.php are paths and some are URLs. It's easy to use one when you should be using the other.
Check the rewrite base in .htaccess if there is one and make sure the dev. server has modRewrite enabled (it's disabled by default in XAMPP).
