Answered TV + Date format issue

MODX Revolution 2.2.10-pl (traditional) on modxcloud

I created a tv so my user can choose a date. In the TV settings the date format field is : %d %b %Y %H:%M.
I need this TV to be dsplayed like this : 12/14/2014 21:30:01
The TV call [[*date]] displays >> 14 déc. 2014 14:30

If i use date format output modifier the date is not anymore the one choosen by my user:
The TV call [[*date:date=`%m/%d/%y`]] displays >> 01/01/1970
The TV call [[*date:strtotime:date=`%m/%d/%Y`]] displays >> nothing

I don't know what i do wrong but i'd like the date TV to be dsiplayed as expected.

if you want to use the date - output-filter, don't use a special output-format for the TV.

then
```
[[*date:strtotime:date=`%m/%d/%Y`]]
```
should do it.
