    Hi,

    i tried to use userfriendly urls with aliaspathes...

    But it isn’t possible to use quickedit then...

    Trouble happens with the funktion: getManagerPath();
    because base_url could be "/whatever/123/another_path/somethingelse"

    so i corrected the global var for base_url in the following file...

    /manager/includes/config.inc.php

    just comment out : $base_url= $url . (substr($url, -1) != "/" ? "/" : "");
    and insert

    $base_url = ’/yourpath_to_your_modx_root/’;

    if you installed modx to documentroot just put in a slash into the quotes.

    greets Matrix...

    ps. to the moderator... feel free to correct my worse english. smiley

      base_url should always be the absolute URI to the root of the site (minus the domain). I think maybe you just didn’t put a BASE tag in your template, like so:

      <head>
      <base href="[(site_url)]"></base>
      ...

      This is required for friendly alias paths to work properly, since all requests go to the index.php in the root directory of the site (i.e. alias paths are virtual paths only).
