How to put a link to sidecontent?

Hi

I have a website with two column layout. One is used for main content and the other as I sidecontent.
I managed this with using TVs and the @DOCUMENT option. So for every document I can set the TV for the side content.

Now, is it possible to change the sidecontent with a link? So the user clicks on a link in the main section and then the side section is changed?

With frames I would have used the target="sidecontent" option but now I don’t know how to do this.
Could someone help me out?

don’t see why not...just add additional tvs for the side content and link to them in the main content
