I'm trying to get formit to display Dutch 'nl' error messages, like "This field is required"
The nl lexicon entry exists for this "Het veld is verplicht."
I've added the language parameter &language = `nl` to my formit code but it just returns the lexicon key instead of the value e.g. "formit.field_required" instead of "Het veld is verplicht."
In the source /core/components/formit/model/formit/formit.class.php I can see the code that appears to be relevant

Anyone see what's wrong with this so at least I can hack my local copy!
This was reported on the old issues site
http://tracker.modx.com/issues/9986 but I can't see it carried over to github. Anyhow on github there's no current activity on Formit so is this another Extra that's now dangerous to use because there's no support?
