I installed and uninstalled several extras whilst evaluating alternatives, one, ModxTalks has left remnants of itself that are causing errors in the logs:

     [2014-11-30 17:10:31] (ERROR @ /connectors/index.php) Could not load class: CommentsModxTalks from mysql.commentsmodxtalks.

Is there a procedure for manually scrubbing what's left so as to stop the errors? There are no plugins/snippets left.

Did you manually clear the cache (i.e. delete the core/cache folder)? Sometimes things can be in the cache in places you would never expect, so simply removing the whole cache can solve a lot of odd issues.

Also make sure there aren't any CMP menu items, or a namespace for it.

I've used it a couple of times, and like it, but I don't recall having any problems removing it.

Try checking the System Settings for any mention of it. I have been using a beta version that I install by uploading it from my machine, so your version may be adding a system setting that isn't being removed.

Connect to database and go to table "modx_site_content". Next, replace all strings in "class_key" row with value "CommentsModxTalks" on default "modDocument". And if this strings have any data in "properties" row then replace it on default "NULL". Profit))
