MySQL upgrade from 5.1.73 to 5.6 - Modx affected?

    It has come to my attention that MySQL on my server is fairly old (version 5.1.73). I'd like to upgrade it to 5.6. Will this impact my Modx installations in any way?

      It shouldn't. The MODX Cloud is using version 5.6.21-70.0. It might depend on how old your version of MODX is. Hopefully it's being kept up-to-date to avoid the security vulnerabilities that have been discovered and patched.
