This day I tried to perform an upgrade from the post entitled version to the latest edition (2.3.2).
The procedure I followed included deleting the content of the the core/cache folder.
Extracted traditional 2.3.2 on my server, merged the files and then changed the config.inc.php permissions.
Browsed to setup folder on the site, chose the upgrade installation option.
All the green ticks were present, clicked on the install button, operation appeared to start but remained on a blank screen with the ?install parameter in the URL string.
Waited considerable time. Closed browser after some minutes, went back to the setup folder and started the procedure again with the same result.
Went to the login screen for MODX, my credentials were rejected saying that my account had been disabled, contact the system administrator (red warning message).
Went into the database to have a look if anything had changed, account was still active and not blocked
Eventually had to remove files from the server and restore zip archive and reverted back to 2.1.15.
Some background - my user account has administrative (super user) access, there are some role configurations within the installation/manager, but nothing that would conflict or has done in the past.
Any ideas?
