I am building a site that is using Prototype Glider and Accordion - it’s heavy I know and I prefer Jquery, but because I couldn’t find jQuery plugin for Glider (Coda slider is a bit overkill for the simple needs), so I decided to go with the Prototype so that I can use both with the same prototype script. I have everything setup properly and they both work in static html, in all browsers, however it’s not working after deploying it (Accordion only right now) to Modx when it should.
In Safari, where I am still logged in in Modx Manager, the script doesn’t work at all - I can see the whole content. I tried the page in Firefox, it works semi-ly; when I click on each Accordion tab, it opens up but the content isn’t show.
My guess is, with Safari, Prototype script is conflicting with QuickEdit script however I am totally bummed with the result from Firefox.
Help please.
Sorry, found the problem, the effect.js for glider dated 2005 and the one for Accordion apparently is newer version, I uploaded the 2005 ones. Still, need to figure out if the newer’s effect.js will work with Glider
