Having an issue with logging into MODX revo (The version is 2.2.15 according to system settings core table entry)
For a reason as yet unknown, cannot get passed the login screen.
The install is on a VPS. Can access the database and confirm that my user is active and notice that the login count in the 'user_attributes' table is incremented successfully.
The problem is that when the username and password is entered, it appears to process and then reloads the MODX manager login screen.
Has only occurred recently apparently, server was not previously under my control until now, as yet not changed any server settings.

Look for a crashed database table. Happened to me before. Than it simply erases your input and does nothing.
No if 1 table is crashed PHPMyadmin will tell you directly in the list. Simply do "check Databases" and then "repair databases" if needed.
Of course, perfectly logical, I'll always find the way over the mountain instead of going via the tunnel that someone built through it.
There were some small errors and one crash, these have been repaired and now I can get in, so all good here and many thanks monsieur.
