Hi. New to the MODx world and trying out a few things for my custom site. Here is what I am trying to do :
I have a bunch of static HTML pages which I am importing into MODx via Import HTML . They are assigned to a template which has a Auto-Tag template variable. I want to find a way whereby this template variable gets auto populated from the content for each of these pages while importing them.
The static pages are generated via a build process and I can modify them in any way which helps MODx identify the content and search for the TV data. For e.g. I can create the pages like:
<html>
<body>
....
</body>
<tvdata>library,title,tools,downloads</tvdata>
</html>
So if the list in the tvdata tag can be populated in the TV, that should solve my purpose. Or even if there is another way I can dynamically update the TV for each of the page, that would be great.
Apologies if this is a basic query or has been answered already, but I couldn't find something specific for my need.
