Create new components for MODX Revo

Good day! Get close to the stage of creating their components. Such questions have arisen:

1) How to create your own components on modx?
2) How can I compile archives distributions installers components?
3) About modExtra also not quite sure what kind of animal is provided in the Modx? See this link: http://rtfm.modx.com/extras/revo/modextra

Read this article on Russian language http://habrahabr.ru/post/126635/, but nothing working could not do, for the reason that there is more than half the scripts were missing. The second moment is not clear how to configure the files that you can then install modx. Tell (say) someone that knows about this topic. I would like to get the experience of those who have worked on this topic.

MyComponent takes a little time to learn, but it produces very solid packages very quickly once you get used to it. I can create a brand new extra package in about 20 minutes or less with it (not counting writing the extra's code).
