It would be really nice if in MODX extras every add-on had a link to the dedicated forum thread, when you can suggest improvements or report error. It would be better for users. Now if you have problem with an extension, possible solutions are scattered over forums and given MODX site poor search performance it is sometimes a PITA looking for solutions in forums.

True to a point. However the "main" extras already have dedicated threads. It may be counter-productive to have a thread for an extra that has only been downloaded a handful of times.
As for searching, GIMF (Google is my friend) but it is still a PITA.
Yes, they have but there is no link to that thread on the extras page. Making this a standard would make life easier

I think that once upon a time, when you submitted an extra version, a support thread was automatically created in the Forums. Unfortunately, this is no longer the case. It would be really helpful if that happened, and you're right that a link to that thread on the Extra's repo page would be great.
Many repo pages also have a link to the GitHub repo for the Extra, where the "issues" tab serves as a support center.
