Before udpating to ClassExtender 2.0 I followed these steps in order to update extended user fields :

    - Update of MyExtraUserFields chunk to match the new user fields set
    - Update of MyExtUserSchema to match the new user fields set
    - Manual update of etx_user_data table with the new user fields set
    - Submission of ExtendModUser resource/form

It work fine before upgrade to 2.0

Now, with classExtended 2.0 when I follow the above-steps it break the plugin : no more extended user field content appear in modx manager / user edit page, all extra user fields are blank...

Also Class Key = extUser, not modUser and I don't know if it's normal : "The difference from earlier versions is that ClassExtender will no longer modify the class_key fields of the objects. In fact, when you install ClassExtender 2.0, it will revert its extUser and extResource class_key fields back to modUser and modDocument." according Bob's Guide (http://bobsguides.com/classextender-class.html)

Additionaly the mysterious error log line reappear :

[2014-11-21 12:14:11] (ERROR @ /manager/index.php) Path specified for package extendeduser is not a valid or accessible directory: /var/www/clients/client3/web12/web/core/components/classextender/model/model/

Then I'm thinking to backup chunks, snippets, etx_user_data table, completely uninstall & reinstall classExtender 2.0, run the update process, restore etx_user_data table, chunks and snippets...

Anyway I'm interested in classExtender user/resource fields update feedback after a first update as described in Bob's Guide, Extending modUser section (http://bobsguides.com/classextender-class.html).

The ClassExtender update should have changed the class_key fields back to modUser. I'm not sure why it didn't. I would try re-installing it from Package Manager.
