"Remember me" at login - doesn't work

Hi,

I have used MODX on many sites and it works really well.

One thing as always bugged me, when logging in to manager the "Remember me" checkbox never seems to work. I mean, if you close your browser without logging out, I am always forced to login again when going back to manager.

I tried searching the forum but get too many irrelevant results so apologies if this has been posted before.

Many thanks

James

There are some longstanding issues with the way the legacy MODx code handles cookies and sessions that prevent this from working properly in many cases. These are being worked on, but even with the solutions we are trying on 0.9.6, we’ll have a lot more flexibility with regard to extending sessions indefinitely with the major changes coming in 0.9.7.
