Can't get the File Manager to upload a zipped file that has folders within folders. If there is only one level of folders it has no problem. What's up with that?

File Manager doesn't care about what's in a .zip file. I upload .zip files with nested folders all the time. Something else is at play here.

Ok, it seems like I need to use FTP to make this work. I use Filezilla for some other stuff. Is there a standard format for the FTP address for modx websites? I can't seem to locate that info in the forums or on my site admin dashboard.

That has nothing at all to do with MODX. Usually your default FTP is ftp.domain.com, with the username and password of your hosting control panel login. Or you can create FTP accounts in your hosting control panel. You also may be able to upload what you need using your hosting control panel's file manager utility.
