I'm running Revo 2.2.7 on a site and have a strange issue. Some time ago, I set the site_start to id #24. I've been trying to change it to #47. I change the setting in the settings and all appears OK but nothing changes. I even looked directly in the database and saw that #47 was, indeed set in the system settings. When I tried to delete the #24 resource, it wont' let me because it is set as site start. The reason is that the setting is "stuck" in the cache file. I've tried clearing the site Cache but that did not work.
I "solved" my site_start problem by manually editing the cache text file, however I can't figure out why that file isn't getting cleared / updated on its own.
Anyone have any suggestions?

Clearing the site cache in the Manager doesn't clear everything. You can manually delete all files in the core cache directory (or use the ClearCache snippet).
There's also the possibility that the home page is in your browser cache, so it displays that when it sees yoursite.com.
