Answered After upgrade 2.2.14 to 2.2.16 now forgot login password & change login password not work

I upgraded form 2.2.14 to 2.2.16 because forgot 'login password reset' did not work. Now 'change login password' also does not work whereas previously this did function correctly.

My Set Up

MODX Revo 2.2.16-pl (traditional)
mysql version 5.5.37
php version 5.3.29
apache version 2.2.29
cPanel

login version 1.8.1

When using forgot login i can receive the email with link & new password but, when i click the link & enter new password it will not login.

In addition to this the change login password now also does not work wheras previously (before upgrade) this was functioning ok.

Can anyone shed any light on what could be causing this?

Or;

Can anyone point me in the direction of what investigations I should do to isolate what the issue is?

In the 'core/cache/error logs' there is no info regarding the login package.

I have upgraded the Login package to the latest version 1.9.0

However the 'forgot password' and 'change password' are still not working :-(

Forgot password is now working.

I input the wrong link for the password reset handler page, after i input the correct link it does now function.

So I thought all along the forgot password issue was because of the modx 2.2.14 login issue, I was wrong, my bad.

However;

The change password is still not working.

This has really got me scratching my head because this did function before the upgrade to modx 2.2.16
