    Hi Guys,

I would like to develop an extra with custom tables.

Do I have to use the "SDK" or "Advanced" version, I think "Advanced" should be enough, right ?

I come here because i dont find answer in the manual. I just find the information that SDK is provided with some uncompressed .js files, and that the Advanced version is required to put the core/ outside of web root.

But I still don't know for sure which is required for custom tables (like Doodle or Storefinder for example)

I wish you All the Best smiley

SDK is for Manager theme development.

Advanced is for security - renaming and moving the core folder, renaming the other top-level folders and renaming the config.inc.php file.

For Extra development, you're probably better off with the Traditional installation.

For Extra development, you might take a look at MyComponent. If you will be building more than one package, or if the package you build will updated over time, it's definitely worth learning to use MC, imo.
