    Good evening,

I'm relatively new on Modx. ( and I'm French so sorry for my English )

After an update from 2.2.2 to 2.3.2 my site crashed. The front pages were not found (even if the articles appear in the manager). And on the manager side I couldn't do anything. When I tried to create a new resource I had an error. The already existing resource codes where not in color anymore. In my error log I had multiple errors such as : (ERROR) Resource URI already exists for resource id = 386; skipping duplicate resource URI for resource id = 388

I tried to delete everything on my server and database. I restored a previous version ( 2.2.2 version ). I had the same issues again ... I updated to 2.3.2 again... still no success...

Anyway I can't find any solution, so if you could help me!

I don't know if it's a coincidence but we recently change our server (1 week before the issue at hand) though it worked during the week before the crash.
And just in case : when I try to clear the core/cache folder some files won't delete like log.php, 34.cache.php and others.

Hope you can help me guys.
    Thanks in advance smiley

First, did you run setup after putting the new files in place?

      If not, do that.

Try turning off the compress_js and compress_css System Settings in the modx_system_settings in the database (change the 1 to a 0). Then delete all files in the core/cache directory and clear your browser cache and cookies.

If that doesn't work, it's possible that you have a missing or corrupted file -- that's common if you transfer them individually with FTP.

Another possibility is that one or more files didn't get overwritten by the new versions when you did the upgrade.

That may be a problem. Try cleaning up the folder entirely, perhaps you have more luck deleting the files via a control panel filemanager or maybe the host can help there.

Also what is log.php? That doesn't sound like something that belongs in MODX, or the cache folder..

So I deleted all the file from the server (including the cache thanks to my host). I transfer an old and working version. Without anything int he cacher folder. But the issue remains the same... worst those files which I couldn't delete are back in the cache folder!

I've got no ideas why this issue won't go away ...
