    pthumbs is working great in the main 'web' context.

    In another context 'nl' it's not working for TV's (works fine in the Content area).

    I'm getting an error in the MODX error log

    [2014-11-12 19:04:42] (ERROR @ /index.php) [pThumb] Resource: 130 || Image: (none)
    File not found: /var/www/vhosts/domain.com/httpdocs/images-thumbs/thisimage.jpg  *** Skipping ***

    It's not prepending the media source path assets/ between /httpdocs and /images-thumbs.

    I've seen other discussions on this but none have helped me solve it.

    Any clues?

      You could try:

      Check your pthumb system settings and you should see 'Images Base Directory (pthumb.ptcache_images_basedir)'.

      Duplicate this as a context setting for your 'nl' context and adjust the path accordingly. You may need to do the same for 'pThumb Cache Location (pthumb.ptcache_location)'.

      If your using a custom media source for the TV this may not work. You could also check that the TV is using the same media source for ALL contexts. [ed. note: davidpede last edited this post 11 years, 11 months ago.]

        Thanks David

        In the end I changed the TV output type from Default to Image, saved the TV then reset it back to Default.

        This got it working. Tried it on another TV and it also solved it. Don't know why this worked, maybe something with the phpthumb cache.
