formit allowing japanese writing to be passed through as spam

Im having a problem with one of our websites. we have the formit spam enabled on our contact form, but for some reason japanese writing seems to be getting through the spam.

this is an example of what we are receiving in the comment field. How can I modify formit to filter using reg expression on the comments field?
