Babel is an important multi-language plugin since it's been used by +10k installments.
It needs improvement.
Unfortunately, it's been unmaintained for 3 years (at the extra), and 1 year (I saw a merged) in Github.
If you are reading this, I'm interested to take it over and share it with other interested collaborators to improve it, especially for MODX 2.3.x
