Answered Symlink Generating Error 503: Site Temporarily Unavialable

    n Revo 2.2.15 when I go to symlink I get this error and I have confirmed the resource is published. Any ideas? Thanks

        it's a shared Linux hosting platform and I have the MODx Core outside root. Initially I thought it was because the destination page has some PHP code but when I tried with a pure html file I got the same result. Let me know if there are more details to provide

          I was trying to make use of symlink to point to a page that is not within MODx but within the same domain so the website.com/symlink.html will load to itself website.com/pageoutsideMODx.html

          Now I tried to point to a resource within MODx and it worked. Guess symlink is not meant for my purpose. Weblink could be used but I will loose the site links, so I wanted a situation where the main content of the external page is loaded into the main content area of the site's modx resource.
