Install question: Where to enter database port during installation

Hi, I am new to MODx. I tried to install it on my webspace . It is running mysql4 on standard port and mysql5 on 3307. Sure I want run MODx on mysql5, but during installation, I can only specify the database server "localhost" but no port. The notation "localhost:3307" seems not to function. Any help for a newbie?? I alwyas get, can’t connect to host ;-( (with mysql4 it works)

I got the connection with the database: 127.0.0.1:3307, localhost:3307 doesn’t work.
