Answered [UPDATED] Evo 1.0.14 Inaccessible pages by Alias

Hello my friends.

Yesterday, as I modified a page: http://www.celebrities-galore.com/about-our-applications
it had became inaccessible for browsing by both alias and doc ID (542).
Later on, it became accessible again by reference to page ID, but returned 404 by alias name.

Some pages are FURL accessible: http://www.celebrities-galore.com/about-us
And some are not: http://www.celebrities-galore.com/about-numerology

I have attached a screenshot of the FURL settings.

really dunno whats going on.

I can only give some points I would have checked.

is your site hacked? check FTP for suspisious files.
maybe some settings changes on your host, maybe magic_quotes

I see this in your source:
<?php flush(); ?>
that can't be ok.

Is the site up to date (1.0.14)?

Regarding inaccessibility to http://www.celebrities-galore.com/manager/
Here's how the Windows Server Administrator for my dedicated server has solved the issue:

"PHP Warning: is_file(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(C:/Inetpub/vhosts/celebrities-galore.com/httpdocs/C:/Inetpub/vhosts/celebrities-galore.com/httpdocs/manager/media/style/common/login.tpl) is not within the allowed path(s): (C:/Inetpub/vhosts/celebrities-galore.com\;C:\Windows\Temp\) in C:\Inetpub\vhosts\celebrities-galore.com\httpdocs\manager\includes\accesscontrol.inc.php on line 137
In the image below you can see that the PHP settings for open_basedir were set to use the webspaceroot and tmp folder. I have changed this setting to none, and the site is now loading."

I have attached the screenshots for other members' benefit.

That, however doesn't explain what has suddenly happened, or why other pages have suddenly stopped responding to their FURL call by alias - after performing some minor textual content change to the page and saving it. For example:

Isn't accessible by its alias: http://www.celebrities-galore.com/about-our-applications

I'm still checking for possible hacking and PHP settings change, such as magic_quotes.

Just to show you how far can a loner go setting their own bed.

And finally, the framework IS an up-to-date 1.0.14.

Maybe some logfile got to big or smt, or worse case there is some hack going on.
I don't have experience with Win servers, I'm always on linux.

When looking in the source I see the last closing </div> can be removed or somewhere else in your template. (I use html validator add on for FF)
And your first line is: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>

Hacking doesn't seem to be the culprit.
We have just gone through a series of server log file cleanups.

I'll check the orphan </div> terminator once I'll get this troublesome situation figured out.

I have made an XML declaration due to a common recommendation to allow feed readers to read HTML pages comfortably.

You might wanna pull the site true a validator.

Could I bother you to take a look at the parsing error I'm getting at:

There was no change to the snippet (attached) or the TV: @EVAL return $_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'];
or to the document, or to the underlying database structure.

I have upgraded EVO 1.0.14 again today, but to no avail.

Page does not exsist. Is the id correct?

maybe the friendly URL config isn't correct?
or .htaccess is overwritten or incorrect?

I don't have much PHP skills, maybe someone else can help you with that.
I'm a front-editor and not a coder.
