My customer constantly gets an access denied message while making content edits to the site. Shortly after that the manager goes down then the site with a 503 error message. It usually happens when saving or changing images under template variables. I have made sure all files in content folder are set to 777. At first I thought it was her user settings, then she tried my username and pass only leading to the same result.
I dont think that was the issue, because it did'nt fix the problem. I ended up upgrading the newest MODX version, hoping it would fix the issue, but it did not.
I did notice the MODX Revo error log. I wonder If this has anything to do with it.
That message suggests that at least one DB table didn't get upgraded as it should have. This happens sometimes when you jump over several versions when you upgrade.
Probably the safest thing would be to revert the site (assuming that you have a backup), then upgrade to 2.2.12, 13, 14, 15, and 16. I'm sure that the steps aren't all necessary, but I don't know which ones you could safely leave out. I tried to look at the core to see which upgrade added the new table fields, but I couldn't find it.
