    Hi

i worked trough the two tutorials
MIGXdb.Manage Events-Resources in a CMP with help of MIGXdb
    and
    MIGXdb.Manage Child-Resources in a grid-TV with help of MIGXdb

So far it looks okey but i have some problems. I can change all the Modx-fields (pagetitle, content) and they are saving correctly. But when i try to change or add the value in a custom-tv, it does not save.

I first thought it could be something wrong with the childstutorial.config.inc.php but it is like written in the tutorial

What could be wrong? I work on 2.3.2-pl with Migx 2.8.1.

    Thank you!

Usually there are three reasons for something refusing to save.

      1. A file missing or corrupt in the installation, or a corrupted database table.
Solution: First, completely remove then re-install MIGx. Then try re-installing the MODX files (unzip the .zip file on the server, don't upload all the files after unzipping them on your local machine) and check and repair the database tables.

      2. Mod_security doesn't like something in the data being POSTed.
Solution: Contact your hosting tech support to turn off mod_security or modify its settings for your domain.

      3. Characters in the data that cause problems saving or displaying. This is usually more of a problem with a Rich Text editor failing to display a value that has, in fact, been saved.

As far as this tutorial goes, I just worked through it again. Double-check that you created the three supporting TVs, and assigned all three to the child template. Also double-check the MIGx configuration settings under the "childstutorial" configuration, its "TVs" item.
