    Hi

Just would like to clarify if MOdx will do what I need, before starting up the learning curve smiley

I have a complete site designed in Dreamweaver CS, the client has a restaurant and wants the ability to add/change the daily menu every day themselves.

I’ve seen this done on sites using the web interface and a WCM all beit usually using fckeditor as a front end.

Can I do this using MPDx??

    thanks

You could use QuickEdit on the front end or any number of alternate solutions. This should be quite straightforward. Heck you could even have it generate a daily menu as a PDF file ...

With MODx you’ll learn the answer is almost always yes, and more times than not it’s actually a good application for what you’re trying to accomplish!

        Thanks

I’ll start up the learning curve, appreciate what you say about pdf files but the end user is shall we say "prone to making errors" so wanted to make it as simple as possible. Initially I tried a php include with a text file bu that just didn’t work. They apparently need to see the overall look

        Thanks again
