Is it just me (as in am I blind) as I no longer see the version number displayed in the Manager.
While I try to stay on top of things, I can't always remember which version I have installed. I personally find it helpful to quickly see which version I am running when news is posted on the splash page of the Manager.
It isn't - there is a pull request on github to reintroduce it though.
You can always see the version in settings under site.

Also in Reports -> System Info.
Thanks. Hopefully they act on the pull request. I think having it displayed right up front is both helpful and encourages less experienced users to notice when they are not running the latest safest version.
