New install of 2.2.3 causing all kinds of strange behavior such as not showing elements tree, not being able to use the package manager etcetera. Looking in Cpanel resource usage I get the memory maxing out which apparently causes 500 errors. The virtual memory allocated to the account is 1024Mb at the moment.
I've reverted to a 2.2.16 installation but am getting the same errors in package management. Before I start digging deeper or ask my hosting provider to up the memory allocation,.. how much memory should I ask for?

Before you draw a line in the memory "sand", have you tried a fresh install of 2.2.16?
