Am I missing something here? This is the first time I've ever used MODX. I selected a page, right-clicked for 'edit', and made my changes and hit 'save', but nothing has changed. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks!

Are you sure your installation/hosting-provider is good?

Thanks Everett, I was asked to take over editing a website and the account was created for me. I haven't installed anything to my ftp. Is that something I need to do? Shouldn't the direct editing thru MODX work since the original host provider for the site has been working for all this time?

          1. Clear MODX's cache. In the manager, click the "Site" tab, then "Clear cache"
          2. Refresh the page in your browser (the button on the right of the web url)
          3. If you also need to reload all ressources like CSS stylesheets files, a.s.o, hold down the Ctrl button when refreshing in Internet Explorer, or press Ctrl+F5 in Mozilla Firefox.

          It should help.

Thanks for the reply, but there is no option under "Site" to clear cache, only: view, new document, new weblink, new static resource, and logout.

Are you sure you are logged in to an administrator account and not a restricted account?

That's a good question. The account was set up for me. I'm a first time MODX user. I seem to have access to edit the pages, I can see the changes made in the dashboard, but there are no live changes. Would a restricted account permit me to make changes and have access to edit the pages?
