I've found this on modx.com. Math questions can be beaten by anything that can be resolved by using the google api by a bot. Especially if there are ways to detect if it is a FormIt form.

Jay, any recommendations for stopping this? Also why is the math field returning "BackPage Ads Posting"

I am going to test this, but I've added a URL detection validator to the subject and message. Basically looking for parts of a URL and preventing submission if it matches anything.

Dan, thanks for the reply. We used to use that method, but haven't needed to in a couple years. The URL detection worked, but I might add a confirm email field back to our basic form.
