Hi Everyone,
I just came across a rather odd problem with the manager.
I've got a site with loads of resources, grouped into sections etc, children going few levels down in some cases.
When I'm logged in to the manager, I can't see all the children on the Resources tab. What I mean by this, for certain Resources I can view / edit up to 3 levels down no problem. However, for some others there are no children to be seen in the manager, not even a little triangle on the parent indicating it's a container - which it is, and of course these children are displayed correctly on the actual website. They're just not visible in the manager.
It happened on revo 2.3.1 and the problem persists after upgrading to 2.3.2, it's for the main admin sudo user, not limited by any manager access policies etc of course.
Anyone has any idea?
Thanks,
L.

Check them in the database to make sure they aren't set to not show in the tree, or the parent isn't set to not show its children in the tree.
That being said, a lot of resources with a lot of deep nesting can overwhelm the Tree. You might want to consider using something like Collections to take some of the load off of the javascript. I've been finding myself using it for just about everything.
Thanks,
It was actually some weird characters in the description fields of one of the documents which was causing all this
Sounds like a bug. If you know what the characters were, others may be able to test and verify if it's a bug.
