Problem with editing items imported into a MIGXdb

I have a MIGXdb all set up. I have about 200 items I would rather import than enter individually. I logged into phpMyAdmin and imported them directly into the table. They imported fine and populated the MIGXdb in MODX as expected.

However, if I try to edit or duplicate an item that I imported, all the fields that should contain the imported information for that item are blank. If I hit the "Add new item" button and enter information that way, the item works as it should. It's only ones that I import.

Am I missing a step or a setting? How can I get this to work?

what's your xpdo-schema and exported MIGX-configuration (the whole json-array)?

maybe you're missing the id-field in grid-columns.

Then MIGX doesn't know, which record to edit.

That is exactly what the problem was!! I had taken the ID column out along with some other columns to make the table not so crowded, ID column is back in and everything is working now.
