    I have made a page and used the quickedit HTML
    <quickedit:introparagraph />

    Then I decided it was basically the same as using
     [*#introparagraph*]
    So I switched it. and deleted the
    <quickedit:introparagraph />

    However now when I go to validate my site I get this error...

    1. Warning Line 41, Column 26: NET-enabling start-tag requires SHORTTAG YES .

    <quickedit:introparagraph />Divinity Fine Catering is a

    The sequence <FOO /> can be interpreted in at least two different ways, depending on the DOCTYPE of the document. For HMTL 4.01 Strict, the ’/’ terminates the tag <FOO (with an implied ’>’). However, since many browsers don’t interpret it this way, even in the presence of an HMTL 4.01 Strict DOCTYPE, it is best to avoid it completely in pure HTML documents and reserve its use solely for those written in XHTML.
    2. Error Line 41, Column 26: element "QUICKEDIT:INTROPARAGRAPH" undefined .

    You have used the element named above in your document, but the document type you are using does not define an element of that name. This error is often caused by:
    * incorrect use of the "Strict" document type with a document that uses frames (e.g. you must use the "Frameset" document type to get the "<frameset>" element),
    * by using vendor proprietary extensions such as "<spacer>" or "<marquee>" (this is usually fixed by using CSS to achieve the desired effect instead).
    * by using upper-case tags in XHTML (in XHTML attributes and elements must be all lower-case).

    The thing is, I have deleted
    <quickedit:introparagraph />
    but it shows up. I even went in and deleted the
     [*#introparagraph*]
    and then checked it, and it passed, so I reinstalled it and it passed at first but then it failed after a few tries again with the same error.

    Any ideas?

        Hello,

        I think you’ve got a cache issue.
        Try to hit "Clear Cache" button before logout from manager.
        I can’t find it again but there is a thread about this issue with this answer from user sotwell.

            I noticed that Quickedit adds the <quickedit:introparagraph /> even if you just put in a simple tag [*#introparagraph*]

            Perhaps it will have to be changed in the Quickedit files.
