modx2.3.1 thumbnails broken in media browser

Hi there,

i upgraded one of my test systems from 2.2.14 to the new 2.3.1 to have look around. Nice UI by the way

In the media browser i can not see any thumbnails. Thumb images are displayed as broken. (see screen shot)

error log says:

can you check with what image path the phpthumb connector is called, just inspect one of the broken thumbs and you should see something like this:

I have the same thing going on in NewsPublisher with image TVs in 2.2.13. I get the same error message in the log.

2.2.13:

I have the same problem, MODX Revo 2.3.2-pl.

But this error appears only if I create and use new media source for images.
If I use default Filesystem option and no additional media sources - everything is ok and no errors.

Is there any solution to use media sources for image-type TV inputs?

Do we know the fix guys? i get weird 1 hr long 100% CPU spikes
