KCFinder not working

    I did a migration from 1.0.10 to 1.0.14 and now KCFinder not working in 1.0.14. When a user clicks on the Add/edit link button from TinyMCE, then clicks the browse button next to the URL field KCFinder is launched in a new window but never loads the directory listing or files.

    The brower opens a window with http://mydomain.com/manager/media/browser/mcpuk/browse.php?opener=tinymce&type=images

    I have tested with a new empty assets/images folder (without images) and I get the same result.
    I have read all the posts regarding this issue, but I still blocked!

      server configuration problem I think.
      or chmod 777 is needed for the folders.

      not sure which setting causing it.
      safemode on perhaps?
