    Hi Peeps,

    I have been asked to try and develop a recruitment website for a friend of mine, and i have done a quick search but could not find anything specific to what i am after. If you read the following you will get an idea.

    I have a page called jobs which acts as a container for about 200 "job listings" these are catagorised and displayed using ditto and a template variable with tags (i thought this would be the best way).

    Now for all of these jobs i have some more TVs that cover entries like salary, hours, location etc and i would like to be able to search each of these TVs individually. E.G a search box that searches everything, and then to limit this via say salary or another item within the template variables. This will then obviously allow users to search more specifically for a job within the site.

    Now i have this feeling ajaxSearch is the way forward, but i cant seem to find specifics as to how i might accomplish what i am trying to achieve.

    Any ideas or am i not making sense lol =p

    Cheers All

    Alan

      Hi tvExplorer is the most appropriate.

      Search for tvEditor in the "In development forum". The module is required to use the tvExplorer snippet.

      here is a search form using tvExplorer => http://www.deco-in.com/recherche-avancee

          Right so i finally got some time to look at tvEditor and tvExplorer. It is exactly what i want, so thanks a bunch Heliotrope for producing this. I have looked over the forum post for tv editor, but could not find any specific documentation (i could be blind).

          obviously i have got as far as installing tvEditor and the required snippets, i am now just curious as to how you go about building the browser form as seen on the site you linked to.

          If there is a link to a how to or an explanation that would be cool.

          Ok I have got this far its obviously something to do with the lines similar to

          [+tve.ObjetColoris:label->Quel(s) coloris ?:filter->9:size->8+]

          that said im not too sure.
