SlideshowManager Slides Lost After Setting Up New Media Source

After creating a new Media Source for Editors, setting it has the default resource and limiting the Editors to it, all the SlideshowManager Album became blank with no slides. But the slides previously uploaded are still in the 'uploads' folder of the SlideshowManager component folder.

I tried uploading one slide to an album, as a result the slide is visible on the site. Does this mean I would have to repload all 59 slides of the 12 albums to resolve this issue. I want to know if there is any line of code in the slideshowmanager I can update to recover from the loss.
