Answered Is it possible to return a file from a processor?

Hi everyone! I'm hoping someone can help me.

I have a CMP with a grid. A user can select a row and click a button to generate a PDF. I can send the ID of the row to the appropriate processor to generate the PDF, but I can't seem to figure out how to return the newly generated PDF so that it simply displays in a new window. It seems I can only return a success ($modx->error->success()) or a fail ($modx->error->failure()).

With respect to the first link you posted, would I call the processor through MODx.Ajax.request (going through the connector)? When I try this route, I get an error. Is there perhaps a way to call the processor (via connector) without Ajax?

Ahh, I see now. Ajax wasn't it. I had to call it through location.href. I tried this before and it didn't work because I FORGOT TO INCLUDE THE '&HTTP_MODAUTH='+MODx.siteId
