No Captcha Codes Shown

    Hi All,

    I have a problem with Captcha code images not displaying.

    I have a site developed locally on WampServer with Apache. I have transferred the site to the hosting server and made the necessary configuration changes and the site is working perfectly. However, the Captcha code images are not displaying on the contact form or the manager login screen.

    The hosting server is a Windows server but from the phpinfo, the GD Library is actually enabled (see below) so I have no idea what the problem is.

    No error messages are generated. I read in the forum something about the cache - perhaps this is the problem.

    We are going to temporarily disable the Captcha codes on the site - although they work quite happily on the WampServer so I guess this must be a simple config issue.

    Would appreciate any help you can muster - many thanks in advance.

      Just some further info. If I try and run the veriword.php script using the same call and parameter as the image on the screen, the following errors are generated.

      PLEASE NOTE: I have deliberately concealed the domain by replacing it with ’xxx’ in the error messages above. The domain is current and correctly displayed in the real errors.

        Just thought I would let you all know that the problem was with the font in the ’ttf’ folder. Whilst transferring the file from the development server, the FTP client sent the file as ascii as opposed to binary and therefore the file was corrupted.

        Re-transmitting the file as binary solved the issue.
