Hello,

I use friendly URL, but I do not like the slash at the end of URL.

For example
http://www.dib.no/kurs/

If I have a link Link on the page and click on this, I will get following URL: http://www.dib.no/kurs/#arsoppgjoret, but I need http://www.dib.no/kurs#arsoppgjoret (without slash) for navigating on the current page.

So, how can I remove this slash?

Thanks! smiley

Slash is from that, u use "kurs" resource as container. If your question concerns only one document, you can use "Freeze URI" to avoid that: In your Resource "kurs" go to Setting tab, and check Freeze URI then simply remove slash from end. That's it smiley

You can also change system setting "container_suffix" to change ALL containers suffixes into eg. "#". But remember, if u don't use "kurs#arsoppgjoret" syntax on every page, it can break other pages!

Regards

Removing the slash from the container_suffix is fine, I do it on all my sites.

I removed "/" from "container_suffix", but it did not helped. Get "/" anyway :-/

Freeze URI did things. But local navigation by "#" does not work. May be because of I have "Use Friendly Alias Path" = "No"?

Thank you for help! smiley

Clear the cache.

As @Dan wrote: Clear Cache.

Leave "Use Alias Path" set to NO because this option is used for showing all path (long URL) of current resource.

If u have tree structure: Home -> Resource_LVL1 -> Resource_LVL2 and "Use Alias Path" set to No, then you'll get:
http://somedomain.com/Resource_LVL2
but when u change that option to Yes, it will be
http://somedomain.com/Resource_LVL1/Resource_LVL2

Of course in your case (when u changed container_suffix into "#") you'd get something like
http://somedomain.com#Resource_LVL1#Resource_LVL2
(no, there's no any typos ) smiley
