I'm using Revo 2.3.1 on an Apache server with MYSQL
I copied a modx site to use as a template for a new site. I followed the instructions for moving a site from one directory to another. I believe I set the config.inc.php correctly.
I open Manager and I get the badly formatted screen that I've attached. What might have gone wrong?
Turn off the compress_js and compress_css System Settings in the modx_system_settings table in the database. Then delete all files in the core/cache directory and clear your browser cache and cookies before logging in.
If that doesn't do it, check all the paths and URLs in the core/config/config.inc.php file. If any need changing, delete the files in core/cache again.

I was wondering about this step (Update the Database):
UPDATE `your_revo_db`.`workspaces` SET path='/path/to/modx_doc_root/core/' WHERE id='1';
Should the path be specified right from the root of the server or from the HTML root? I'm on a shared server so I set it to:
/home3/shared-server-hame/public_html/mydomain.com/core/
Not sure if this helps narrow down the problem but even my login screen is missing the graphic elements. I think it's definitely a path problem.
I think you have that right. The HTML root would only be used for a URL, not a path.
SiteCheck will check that path for you, and all the paths and URLs in all four config files (and a bunch of other stuff as well).
