Answered img data source breaks page rendering

A chunk with a base64 image breaks the rendering of my page.

The chunk looks like this:
<img src="data:image/png;base64,iVBOR…
has around 34k characters

Only splitting it into 2 chunks renders the page. But it takes realy long to render.

Is there any limitations for chunks. How to deal best with that?

The snippet field of an htmlsnippet is a mediumtext field. It shouldn't have a problem storing your data. It's more likely that rendering the whole thing at once either takes too long or uses too much memory. Check your server's PHP error log.
