My mediasource is set up ok, I can upload files via ajax and it puts them in the right place, I can then add them manually and it points me to the correct folder and I select each pdf for each row. However when I click 'load from media source' to populate the document fields automatically it loads in the correct number of rows for the number of files in that folder but the rows appear blank and it doesn't add the file name references into the field? Have I missed something?

by default the fieldname is 'image', where 'load from source' loads the filenames in.
In your case the fieldname is 'block_image'
To get it work with another fieldname, you need a mediasource-setting 'migxFileFieldname'
I've added this setting to your mediasource. Now it is loading the filename into that field.
